Biography
Andrew H. Sung has worked for over 40 years at several public research universities in the U.S. and is professor and past director of the School of Computing Sciences and Computer Engineering at the University of Southern Mississippi. He received his Ph.D. from the State University of New York at Stony Brook.
With over 250 publications, his current research interests include data engineering, machine learning and AI, and cybersecurity. His research has been funded by the NSF, DOD, DOE, DOJ, DoED and industry. Included annually in the top 2% world scientists list by Elsevier/Stanford since 2020, his h-index is 49.
